Just wanted to say thank you for the lovely makeup you did on my wedding day. I was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for someone to do wedding makeup for myself, my two bridemaids and my mum. None of us were sure what we really wanted, especially my mum who has had lots of problems in the past with her sensitive skin. Gemma was amazing, recommending looks that would suit each of us as individuals but still to make us look part of a group. She even managed to cover up the enormous burn on my sister’s nose. I’ve already recommended Gemma to all of my friends and won’t hesitate to use her again.
I’ve known Gemma since we were bumps in our mum’s bellies and just knew I wanted her to be the one to make me feel special and pampered on my big day. Gemma is so precise and takes such pride in her work which really shows. My makeup was flawless and stayed on throughout the night despite a very manic and sweaty day. Her attention to detail shines and I would recommend her to everyone.

A huge thank you to Gemma who did the makeup for me and my bridemaids at our wedding last September. Gemma provided a friendly and professional service from the initial enquiry through to the wedding day. She really listened to and understood my vision, creating a beautiful 1940’s inspired look which remained intact for the whole day. Looking back on our photos the makeup is just as I imagined it and for once I quite like myself in a photo. Thank you very much.
Cannot thank Gemma enough for doing my wedding makeup and my sisters for my big day. My makeup was amazing. It lasted all day not needing any touch ups and I danced the night away. Hey Gem just want to say a huge thank you for the makeup for my wedding. It looked amazing. I had the groom and his three best men crying ‘because of how beautiful I looked’. They’re used to seeing me with no makeup so was a big surprise. The makeup looked incredible and everyone complimented it asking who done it. It looked so good that I didn’t want to take if off on the wedding night and even lasted for an evening meal the next day. Thank you so much again.

Your detail in everything is perfect. All the makeup was still perfect when we got into bed very late that evening, never needed to touch up’s what so ever. I chose Gemma to do my make up after loving the way she had done my make up when I was a bridesmaid for my sister. Gemma is professional and makes you feel at ease,we went through ideas on my trial and she made sure I was completely happy with the way the make up looked. On the day Gemma worked quick but with total attention to detail,the bridesmaids looked flawless. My wedding make up was stunning and i especially loved my eyeshadow,Gemma was flexible and used a couple of new products on me to help with some dry skin under my eye,and also went through the strip lash choices as I decided to go for a fuller lash. Gemma waited for me to put my dress on then made the final touches when I was ready. The make up stayed on all day and night,I didn't need to top up my powder or cheeks at all. The coverage was perfect without feeling too heavy. I would definitely recommend Gemma and would 100% use her again. Thank you
Just to say a HUGE thank you to Laura and Gemma for doing hair and makeup for my wedding on the 16th June. They were both absolutely fab and I found the whole experience so much fun! I was so worried I was going to be super nervous on the morning but they really put me at ease. My mum doesn't usually wear makeup and Gemma was absolutely fab with her, too! Thanks for organising everything and making the process so easy in the wedding planning chaos. My little sister is getting married in a couple of years time (one of my 'maids) and I've recommended you guys to her to use too! Will be recommending you guys to anyone who needs hair or makeup around your new areas!

Gemma did the make up for me and my 3 bridesmaids on my wedding day! I don’t have a clue about make up but she made me feel so comfortable and I trusted her......she was amazing! We had a laugh during the trials and on the morning of the wedding too, which added to the whole experience. The make up stayed on all day and night, none of us had to top it up! Looking back at the wedding photos everyone looked great and Gemma played a huge part in that. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend Gemma for any occasion. Xx
Gemma did my make up for myself, maid of honour and flower girls for my wedding. I’m not big on make up and had never worn fake lashes before this point but Gemma was so knowledgable and made me look and feel amazing! The girls all looked stunning too. I even had my lashes on the morning after! I cannot thank you enough for how beautiful you made me feel so thank you so much. Gemma is amazing! In April she did my bridal make up, as well as five bridesmaids and mother of the bride. From booking, she couldn’t have been more helpful. At the trial she was able to advise and made everyone feel at ease, especially as I didn’t have a clue what I wanted! It was an absolute pleasure having her there on the morning of the wedding. Gemma did my wedding makeup for me and my bridal party and a few of my cousins. She is amazing and explained everything that she was doing and made me feel beautiful. The make stayed on all day and still looked perfect in the evening. I can not thank you enough and everyone was giving me compliments all day. Highly recommend.
I would recommend south west bridal hair and make up to anyone planning a wedding from the initial enquiry Emily was quick to respond to all enquiries and was so helpful.
