Hi, I'm Jennifer,

I'm a fully qualified freelance hair stylist based in Portishead, Bristol, specialising in bridal and occasion hair styling across the South West and beyond.

​

Hair has been my passion for over 26 years, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have built a career doing what I love. Throughout my journey, I've had the privilege of styling hundreds of brides and wedding parties in all kinds of beautiful settings, from intimate countryside ceremonies to grand manor houses and luxury wedding venues. Every wedding is unique, and I love helping each bride feel confident, beautiful and completely herself on such a special day.

My experience has taken me across the UK, Australia and the USA, allowing me to work with a wide variety of clients, styles and occasions. Alongside my freelance bridal career, I've spent more than 18 years teaching hair and make-up, sharing my knowledge and passion with future professionals entering the industry. I've also worked for two of the UK's leading wig-making companies, which further developed my technical skills and attention to detail.

I hold a wide range of professional qualifications in hairdressing, beauty therapy, make-up artistry and education, including an HND in Media Make-Up, PGCE Certificate in Education, QTLS Teaching Status, NVQ Level 2 & 3 Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy, and specialist training in areas such as micro-loop hair extensions and HD airbrush make-up.

For me, hairstyling is about so much more than creating a beautiful look. It's about helping people feel confident, relaxed and the very best version of themselves. Whether you're walking down the aisle, attending a special event or celebrating a milestone occasion, I pride myself on creating hairstyles that reflect your personality, style and vision.

When I'm not styling hair, you'll usually find me indulging my creative side through fashion, interior design and home projects. I live in Portishead with my family, my gorgeous black Labrador Remi, and my much-loved tortoise, Mr Min.
